European and US made machines are known for their quality, reliability and availability of spare parts, often falling into the higher price range.
There are a huge amount of factories producing slush machines in China. They tend to copy US and European models, using Chinese components. In this market there are some manufacturers producing reasonable quality slush machines, but there are also many more with poor levels of quality, finding a good manufacturer is the challenge.
A slush machine should be a long term investment and quality ones will have a useful life of 10 years or more. Since they are working continuously they will need care and attention over the years.
